Unreleased Bill Murray film Nothing Lasts Forever.
A weird 1984 sci-fi film that was canned before release has resurfaced in full on YouTube.

Halfway through watching this now. It’s actually quite good, and Bill hasn’t even made his appearance yet. The depiction of Black folks is about what you’d expect, sadly, from an eighties film. A piano player and a family maid are the only characters so far who are not white.
This smile looks kind of fake. No wonder Bill takes roles now where he doesn’t have to smile.
So far there’s been some great lines, a satire of 80’s mashed-up art culture, and an amazing intro starring a player piano. Check it out.
I’ll get back to posting my own content eventually.

Foreign Substances is playing Shakemore 2014, which starts on June 22nd at 2PM at The Windup Space in Baltimore, MD.
Check out the FB event page or just go to Baltimore City Paper for more info. Cigarbox Planetarium especially wins my admiration and I am looking forward to playing with them.
